Vegetable Daliya is a delicious one pot meal made from daliya (broken wheat kernels) and vegetables. It's incredible light and healthy and is one of the simplest recipes to make. Vegetable Daliya is high in nutrition as broken wheat and vegetables make it rich in protein, fiber and iron.



  1. Heat just 2 teaspoons oil in a pressure cooker, put cumin seeds, when they crackle add chopped onions.
  2. When they start looking transparent add chopped tomatoes, sauté for just 3 to 4 min and add all the finely chopped mix vegetables. Sauté the vegetables for about 5 min and now add salt.
  3. Just dry roast the daliya in a separate pan. Now add the dry roasted daliya and water to all the vegetables in the pressure cooker.
  4. Add pepper, mix well. After the 4 whistles close the fire. Finally add fresh coriander leaves (chopped) & serve hot.
